Staff Connect started in Africa with a simple observation: employers had no way to check who they were letting into their homes, and honest workers had no way to carry proof of their good record from one job to the next.
Our mission
We connect employers with house helps, nannies, healthcare workers, drivers, cooks, cleaners, event staff, sales agents, restaurant staff and tenants, and we make both sides accountable. Identity is confirmed with a government ID, a photo and a live selfie. Once submitted, identity details can never be edited, and profiles are never deleted, so records stay traceable.
We began in Africa because that is where the need is loudest, and we are building for the world. Every feature is designed to work on a low-cost phone and a weak connection.

What we stand on
Verified identities
Every worker and employer submits a government ID, a photo and a live selfie. Identity details can never be edited afterwards.
Portable reputation
Ratings, references and work history follow the worker forever. Accounts can never be deleted to hide a record.
Evidence-based reports
Misconduct reports are separated into employer complaints and police-confirmed cases, and workers always get a right of reply.
Trained and assessed
Conduct, hygiene and skills training with downloadable PDFs so low-bandwidth users can learn offline.
